Fenix281.org is a IRS 501(C)(3) Registered Non Profit Organization which has been established to provide hope and support for our Nation's Veterans, as well as bring to light various serious issues which are facing many of them today.           

Fenix281 was founded in 2009 by, a former Psychological Operations Specialist with the US Army Special Operations Command (Airborne). He is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and served during the "Surge Phase" of the war from July 2007 - August 2008. Once discharged from active duty, he quickly realized how countless of his fellow veterans have been effected terribly by growing unemployment, homelessness, and under-treated cases of Post Traumatic Stress. He is incredibly committed to bettering the lives of his fellow veterans.

The mission of Fenix281 is to be a nexus for project development, public awareness, community outreach, employment opportunities, and fundraising for the Veteran Community. Through alignment with key government agencies, corporations, and other veteran, Fenix281 envisions a streamlined process of helping transitioning veterans in several facets of life, which are directly in-line with our Core Projects. What is more, Fenix281 will be a place where networks and partnerships are created with other IRS 501(C)(3) Registered  Veteran Non-Profit organizations enabling proactive fundraising, veteran referrals, and informing the public of the issues veterans are dealing with today. 

The Core Projects Include:
• Veteran Employment Initiative
• Nationwide Veteran Resource Database & News Center
• Awarding of Grants to Newly Formed Veteran’s Non-Profits, Eligible Veterans in need of financial assistance or the Survivors of fallen heroes.

Fenix281 is working hard to always find new and better ways to raise funds, help and generate awareness for the serious issues currently facing our nation's veterans. Our fund raising efforts include Public Donations & Corporate Sponsorship, coordinate and host charitable events, as well as the sale of Fenix281 branded merchandise. In addition, we have been working hard to align ourselves with various IRS 501(C)(3) Registered Charitable Organizations with the intentions to raise funds, generate support & broaden awareness for these core issues.
